Gideons Jail Ministry

A Gideon’s New Testament Distribution is now being planned for Sunday June 27, 2010. We will go to the Peter Pitches Honor Rancho (LA County Jail) at Castaic, also known as the Wayside Co. Jail. The North facility is being shut down, so we will minister to only 3 locations. We will plan on a distribution at around noon and a second distribution at around 3 PM. Final details will be announced as we get closer to the actual date.

I need to know how many want to go ASAP. Please call or e-mail me (reply to this email) with your name and Camp. If you are new to this Jail ministry I need your Full name as it is on your California Drivers License, Date of Birth, Drivers License ID #, Address (including city and zip code) and Phone number.

Please respond quickly as it can take up to 2 months to get the clearance from the LA County Sheriff’s Department. I must know the times you want to go into the facility either Noon Time or 3 PM. Let me know what facility you want to go into, if you have a preference. I will make the final assignments based on the needs of the Chaplains. The Cut off date is April 18, 2010.
